The Caribbean Ocean Trust is dedicated to supporting marine restoration and conservation projects throughout the Caribbean region.
We raise funds for a wide range of projects including coral reefs, sea turtles, mangroves, seagrass and educational initiatives.
There are many Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) already working on marine conservation projects in several Caribbean countries.
Our mission is not to duplicate any of these existing marine conservation efforts, but to help fund current and future projects that these organizations undertake.
Any marine conservation NGO operating in the Caribbean can apply to the Caribbean Ocean Trust for funding, using our Grant Application Form.
All submissions will be carefully vetted, and if approved, funds will be released to the NGO.
As part of its commitment, each recipient NGO will be required to report back on progress and outcomes of each marine conservation project.
Caribbean Ocean Trust is a certified 501(c)(3) company by the IRS and will issue a tax receipt for all donors who are U.S. citizens.
